Travel to Iran. Join us on this half day Tehran Walking Tour. From it's beginnings as a Median village "Rey" (6,000 BCE), to the capital of Qajar’s Empire. From the US and British backed coup d'état in 1953, to the Islamic Revolution 1979. Facing foreign invasions over the past 7000 years, Tehran represents today what is arguably the most stable capital city in the region. This tour will show you Tehran as it was meant to be seen; by walking inside the alleys of Tehran's Grand Bazaar and through the royal palaces, gardens, squares and the three religious establishments. Our expert guides will take you where buses simply can’t go, while breathing life into the stories of Tehran. To give you an authentic introduction to the Middle East's most multi-faceted city. The freelance guides have your best interests in mind (no sneaky commissions). While the tour lasts an average of 4 hours, the time may vary depending on what the guide thinks is best for your group!
