Depart Shiraz at 8am.
Drive to Bishapour region to familiarize yourself with the deserted town from the Sassanian Dynasty (224 - 651 CE). First up we'll visit its Zoroastrian Anahita Temple, then walk to Buyids Dynasty Mosque built just after the arrival of Islam.
After relaxing for a lunch break we'll drive to Tang-e Chogan to visit the Sassanian Bass Reliefs and later drive to Bishapoor Village to climb the mountain and see the Bishapoor Cave and the huge Sassanian Statue of King Shapoor.
Return to Shiraz in the late afternoon.
