Compare all the Iran tours, book this day trip from Tehran to visit the beautiful Nakhjir Cave and Khorhe Soluki Temple at the gateway to Niasar. Nakhjir Cave has extensive stalactites and stalagmites, formed over thousands of years and are located in the Markazi Province of Iran. The cave is close to the village of Naragh in the Delijan County. In 1980 a random explosion occurred in search of water, exposing the mouth and extensive cave network including a large underground water reservoir. The cave is estimated about 70 million years old, with limestone and living stalactites and stalagmites continuing to grow repairing any rock fractures. While in the area the tour will visit the ruins of the Seleucid Temple, originating from the Parthian-era, and located north east of the Khorhe Village. Book Now.
